🚨 The crazy world of football and the manager who delivers without reward 🚨 As we continually see in the game managers sacked one week and back in a job the next week while managers the caliber of Andy Preece and his achievements at Chorley go unnoticed. His Chorley side defeated an ambitious Macclesfield who’ve been exceptional at home in the NLN and Cup Competitions. @1645 on Saturday they produced outstanding away performance culminating in 3 points awayfrom home with a fraction of their budget 👊 Operating on a budget in the bottom 10 of the League with astute recruitment Andy has continued to compete in the higher echelons of the NLN resulting in the Club being in the Play Offs consistently. Not only astute recruitment but tactically sound with a group that would run through brick walls for him. To put that into context Chorley have now completed the league double over them with a squad that has been assembled this season to compete for promotion. ⏱️ Both wins coming with last minute goals Andy has been colossal dealing with the internal financial issues at the Club and still lead by example maintaining standards and an environment for his group to breathe and be accountable. This is clearly advocated with statistics seen below. He’s also continually has had to rebuild every summer as the players he’s recruited have been sold to sustain and run the club. 📊 Win Ratios Chorley 47% Airbus 49% Northwich 55% People are quick to praise and be a face when things are going well but Andy has never been to high or to low showing a class that comes from his Stella career in the game Crystal Palace, Stockport and Blackpool a taste of that. Sometimes we don’t always see the constraints and daily issues managers at this level have to deal with but what you can say is when the odds are stacked against you and you’re in that trench who wouldn’t want Andy Preece in their with them.
