Steele, the ex-British spy behind the Trump Russiagate dossier, has been writing smears about British public figures in return for fat fees. Byrne, Mr Clean Up Parliament himself, read one out in the Commons verbatim, hiding behind parliamentary privilege. As a result, an innocent man and business rival of one of Steele's paying clients lost £8 million. And still Starmer's Tufton St Mafia press for more censorship: more Ofcom powers, more platform regulation, more "emergency" controls over what critics of "technocratic managerialism" are allowed say. (Although Simons continues to insist he did nothing wrong, because he believed — wrongly as it transpired — there had been an illegal hack.) After finally reviewing the footage at Bristol, here’s an exclusive clip of two students grabbing me by the neck as I attempt to get my banner back from another student who stole it. This event had hundreds of students debating me on abortion, and many began cheering as I was being physically assaulted by a group of students while, at the same time, another student was stealing my equipment. There was only one police officer in attendance who, of course, had a rainbow lanyard on, and she refused to intervene. In fact, I am now being investigated for physical assault myself. Of course, sorry for the disgusting clothes. This was just after a tub of curry was thrown at me by another student. I’ll be writing to University of Bristol complaining about this assault, as this is getting absolutely ridiculous. Equipment from that day is still missing after students grabbed it during the incident.

The right spends so much time fighting itself that ordinary people get forgotten. Most people don’t care about political egos or party turf wars. They care about safe streets, jobs, bills, communities and whether politicians can actually work together to improve things. Different parties can keep their identity and culture and still cooperate where it matters. That’s what I try to do in local government. It’s just common sense to ordinary people.
