My advice is that you think about what you want to do and what skills you need, and pick languages based on what’s most used in those fields.

What do you call it when you can hack your way around in an existing project with a programming language, but can’t start something new or really say you know it? Either way. Go was great at that. Rust is horrible and makes me need to learn.
