The latest OpenClaw release is ~3.5x faster 🦞 We run end-to-end RTT tests against every published npm release, every 6 hours, over real message channels (here: Telegram, using the brand new bot-to-bot communication). No more silent regressions. Runners are all running on @useblacksmith CI. Catching slowdowns before you do.

Upgraded from .5.7 to .5.12 today and didn’t encounter issues other than a stale ‘openclaw logs —follow’ that i had running in a terminal window caused some warnings in the logs because it kept the old openclaw PID running (survived the update). I Ctrl-C it and started a new logs —follow and all was well then.

@andrebaach @openclaw Yeah I've run into issues having it self upgrade. Codex can monitor everything as it's restarting to see if processes get hung and stuff like that.

@eligaultney @openclaw Interesting, really? I usually paste the link to the newest version on telegram and have it upgrade itself. Didn’t know there would be a delta

@andrebaach @openclaw updated, and on restart it said config was written by a newer version than I was running. stopped responding on tg. same as always, opened hermes on the same machine and said "fix my openclaw" and it started responding.

We've been working really hard on performance, reliability, security, and stability. Invented whole new automation flows with crabbox, automated video QA and are spending insane amounts of CPU cycles on CI. It's a good release.

Does Anthropic know this is still impossible to enforce? There’s like 20+ ways to wrap an interactive CLI and read it lol One example among many: Use codex computer use to manually type to Claude in my terminal app, then parse the logs Another: Basic apple oascript to input, ocr to read They can keep making it minority more inconvenient, but Claude Mythos will just come up with a new workaround each time

i get some anxiety not using the smartest-available model/settings. but sometimes i dont mind if it's really slow. i wonder if we should focus more on a price/speed tradeoff relative to a price/intelligence tradeoff.

Starting June 15, paid Claude plans include a monthly Claude Agent SDK credit. It covers usage on your own scripts and agents, claude -p, and third-party apps built on the SDK (OpenClaw, Conductor, etc) and it's separate from your regular usage limits.
ClaudeDevs@ClaudeDevs

Monthly credit amounts vary by plan: Pro: $20 Max 5x: $100 Max 20x: $200 Team Standard: $20/seat Team Premium: $100/seat Enterprise: Varies by seat type After you claim the credit, it resets with each billing cycle. Credits do not rollover.

@emanueledpt @ClaudeDevs they screwed claude -p users and framed this as a good thing. when someone makes something so convoluted you can’t even understand what they are saying, why do you think that is??

We're launching a huge SDK credit simplification on June 15: * Agent SDK/-p draws from a new bucket instead of your interactive limits (which stay exactly the same) * Every plan comes with $20-$200 of monthly SDK credits * You can use 3P tools like T3/OC with these credits

@ClaudeDevs @lydiahallie You're talking about this like it's a good thing while in reality you're tightening the leash on our CC usage. 🤦🏼‍♀️ We're not gonna be able to run proper headless sessions anymore without paying extra. $200 of API credits is a TINY fraction of current Max usage.
