"IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PEOPLE." #Keltruck #Scania founder, Chris Kelly #MeetTheTeam: @Andrew_Long67 Andrew Long joined Keltruck in January 2012 as Regional General Manager for the #SouthWales area, including the Cheltenham and Droitwich branches. Andrew is responsible for both truck sales and aftersales across the region, which on average sells over 120 new Scania trucks a year. Andrew is from south Wales and began his career with #SouthWalesPolice (@swpolice) in 1983 as a technical apprentice moving up to master tech. In 1993 Andrew joined Renault Trucks sales & management team and had roles at manufacture and retail operations before transferring to Volvo in 2001 as Regional Sales Director for the Wales & West region. In 2009 he worked in the transport industry with specialist haulier Kings Heavy Haulage on developing their business and customer base before joining Keltruck in 2012. Andrew enjoys his work within the transport industry and says his favourite aspect is “the diverse customer base and people who work in it, together with developing teams and solutions within the business.” Andrew has coached the junior section at Porthcawl Rugby Club since 2001.
