Ever feel one “genius idea” away from wasting 6 months building something nobody wants? In this episode, I break down how index cards, fake‑it‑til‑you‑test‑it experiments, and real customer empathy save founders from delusion. Full episode 👉️ podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/how… #Startup

I took my 1st writing class at 15 & have been in more than I can count since. One thing they all have in common is no one ever teaches how to edit. Meet @draftjournal, my favorite #awp22 find: Finished stories beside their 1st drafts. This is Ursula K LeGuin’s School for Wizards.

@worenft @Meetup Welcome to the arena. Real estate tokenization made a big splash in the early blockchain era but no one has cracked that nut yet. IMHO it's less about the tech & more about creating a liquid market. Tokens just reduce friction but w/o critical mass of buyers & sellers...

Inside Startup Funding
Inside Startup Funding@insidefunding·
Tomorrow’s episode of Inside the Fund is with Andrew Ackerman (@andrewackerman), 2x startup founder, VC, and author of The Entrepreneur’s Odyssey. One of the hardest fundraising truths: Most founders have far less leverage on valuation than they think. Andrew explains why valuation is set by the market, why process matters more than posturing, and why competing term sheets change everything. We also get into investor FOMO, spray-and-pray outreach, governance rights, liquidation preferences, and the fundraising mistakes founders keep making. Live TOMORROW on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Substack.

My #DealQuest interview is their #3 episode! Hat tip to @CoreyKupfer for asking great questions. Which, in a way, is what good #VC do. 🤔 re: "failed investments," if 1/3 of an @angel's investments go to 0 w/in 2 years, that's actually pretty good. 🤣 apple.co/4tmQRmu

Fundraising myth: “Founders control valuation.” Reality: you control process, and process controls everything else. When you run a tight sprint, investors suddenly move faster, FOMO kicks in, and the whole game changes. Full ep: youtu.be/HsbZmBVWc-s?si… #Startups #Fundraising

This episode with @dougthorpe digs into a question a lot of people wrestle with: what actually separates someone who should start a business from someone who just likes the idea of it. We unpack the psycho‑emotional traits that matter. youtu.be/Q_ABkF3HJJY?si…

@mika8002 True but that's like saying crops grow better when the weather is good. It doesn't help the farmer improve because that's not something he can control. Besides, if you are just relying on a hot market, you will be roadkill when the market turns.
