Hey, I’m Andre. tech guy in the ai/dev space. i use the quiet hours after the kids are down to learn, build, and ship practical ai tools and workflows that cut through endless prompting and solve real problems. no guru stuff, just a builder figuring it out step by step. what’s one ai thing you’re building or experimenting with lately? 👌 catch you around

Finally Verified 😇 Reached my follow and reply limits, and it was keeping me away from my fam. So I took the step forward: upgraded to the verified badge. Now my account is officially recognized, and staying connected with my community is effortless.

3 signs a tool deserves to stay in your stack: 1. it removes wiring work 2. it keeps the UI moving fast 3. it doesn’t fight your defaults nextjs made the cut because shipping frontend + backend in one loop is still hard to beat.

Don't ask why the middle guy did not smile, because the other two became billionaires, while this guy still paying for the others' API credits.

Who else knows her? 👀 She talks and thinks so fast that it takes me a while to catch up. 😂 But ngl, her vibe is on a whole different level. ❣️🔥 @Khushigrewall

AI made building 100x faster. Everyone thought that would create more successful startups. It mostly created more competition. The bottleneck moved from building to distribution. The game changed. Most people didn't.

most people still think ai coding is about "prompting better" it's not. it's about getting from idea to working ugly thing fast enough to learn what matters. that gap just got way smaller with claude code 4.8. if you're a founder with a tiny audience, this changes the game more than another "build in public" thread ever will.

Solo builders: what's one AI workflow you actually still use a week later? not the coolest one. the useful one.

This week I kept coming back to one thing while building with AI. The useful tools aren't the ones that impress me in a demo. They're the ones I still reach for when I'm tired. that seems like a better test for practical AI than anything on the timeline.

@GalaxyBuilt Exactly, some people spend a lot of time idling about which tool they should use.

Idea for a skill distribution mechanism for JS/TS teams: 1. Create an npm package with your skills 2. On postinstall for that package, run a script that symlinks them to .claude/skills Simple, versioned, intuitive skill distribution Any reason this wouldn't work?

3 signs an AI tool was built by someone who actually uses it: 1. it shows uncertainty 2. it handles messy input 3. it saves the result somewhere useful

I think $AAPL is taking the smarter approach to AI. Rather than competing in the expensive race for the biggest models, they’re focused on using AI to enhance the products people already use every day. If AI drives upgrade cycles and strengthens the ecosystem, that’s ultimately what matters for shareholders.

@andrewesterlund Great point about investing with conviction, what's your outlook on $AAPL's future product lines driving growth?

I first bought $AAPL stock back in August 2023 when it was $177. Now it's at $315 (up ~73%) 👀 Stop chasing hype, invest with conviction. Have a little think to yourself 🤔 - "Do I see Apple going bankrupt in the next 5-10 years?" - "Will everyone stop using Apple products in the future?" My favorite saying with investing is: Time in the market beats timing the market ✌️
