This is all loud energy but let’s be real for a second. Designations, announcements, photo ops and victory laps are great for headlines but they don’t magically solve the real problems happening on the ground. You can stand beside the man who took down Bin Laden, you can celebrate new terrorist labels, you can shout kingship and talk about rising again but what does any of that do for the actual victims still living with fear, chaos or broken systems that never deliver justice?
