Amazing! In 1996 a Star Trek game featured a Klingon Language Learning Lab mini game.

@garethcoker @wabisabisound @thebeauanthony @OriTheGame and @geoffgarnett. Ori is in my heart...the creative collaboration with you and the Moon team at large was a special time. Remember this...

Going to use this opportunity (with some obvious bias!) to highlight @wabisabisound @andrewlackey @thebeauanthony work on Ori 1 @OriTheGame . Specifically the Bash ability.
Anyone who's played the game will instantly know the sound in their head and how perfectly it synergizes with the animation which in turn reinforces the satisfaction of the gameplay hook it is tied to. When you can't imagine something else in its place that to me is the ultimate success.

Guess what turned 15 years old today? Enormous waves of gratitude go out to the Wabi team present and past. Also, a most humble thanks to the clients who have trusted us with their precious projects.
Here’s to 15 more years of the same.

@wilco has great taste in guest musicians. @fayewebsters LOVED seeing you jump on stage for Jesus, etc. in Athens.

@dannthr @minuskelvin Xenon was a very big advancement for audio. So much cool cutting edge audio tech went into game.

Didn't realize Suzanne Ciani had worked in game audio before--so awesome to hear her talk about her goals for the user's experience!
Thanks for sharing the link, @minuskelvin!

@minuskelvin @TimSweeneyEpic Yeah sorta my point being made...notation isn't performance. It's like saying all poetry should be written in french. Any system expounding to be better than another is just waiting for an artist to break it.
English

Musical notation is silly and inefficient. Much better if everyone moved to piano roll notation. It's symmetric across octaves and much more visually intuitive.
