@thsottiaux also it seems like there are lots of times where changing reasoning doesn’t stick. It would be nice if either the UI blocks changing it when it’s not possible to change it, or (better) it ensures the change goes through as soon as possible

What’s something we haven’t fixed in codex for a while and that’s plain annoying?

@thsottiaux re-authenticating mcp is annoying in both CLI and desktop. using chrome is so unpredictable. It often tries to use computer use instead and i have to remind it about chrome. Also kind of sucks if you are have two accounts open in chrome; total dice roll which codex picks.

@dlwiest if you have more than 150 seats you have to convert to enterprise (where you pay api rates, possibly with a volume discount). Compliance-minded companies aren’t going to let you use personal plans, so the options are either team or enterprise.

Can anyone explain to me why companies don’t just give employees $100 / month Claude Code or Codex plans instead of paying per token? There has to be an explanation, because this keeps happening and doesn’t make sense otherwise

@_sholtodouglas The frequency with which I need to say "read CLAUDE.md" is really annoying. I've resorted to making a pre-commit hook to remind it to obey CLAUDE.md. In codex it follows CLAUDE.md without the hook.

When do you reach for other models instead of Claude? What can we do better? Hit me with all of your frustrations. dms open. If you can give me detail (e.g. specifics/transcipts) - it'll help a lot in finding out exactly what we need to do to improve the next model

@thsottiaux - Side chats have no persistence. When I restart the app they disappear - review individual commits, not just last turn/branch/staged/unstaged - custom groups for sessions beyond "pin" - goals should contain the entire original prompt
