We are thrown into this existence without consent and expected to carry its weight. That feels like slavery to me.

Yes, God should strike down everyone who fails to keep His commands, including me. Blessed are we that we have such a merciful and patient God.

Apparently, you didn't think it was your duty to learn for yourself something that was claimed to have been so extensively studied, researched, or peer reviewed but just simply believe whatever the consensus is and never bothered to consider that even consensus is subject to error or worse, can be even be built upon lies and deceit.

And this - ladies and gents - is why the Bible is a scientifically ignorant book!

Well, they both agree on one thing: God is the source of all truth. What they disagree on is what that truth is. They both claim to be right but only one of them is right. At least with God there is a sense of direction. Those who claim the Bible to be fiction have no sense of direction.

@contender_s @VictorAnder16 @mykael_yuddy Science is a rigorous, observable, testable process. Multiple independent views all point to the same conclusion... meanwhile the Bible says "this is true because god so"
