A foggy drive up the M6 rewarded with wonderful cloud inversions on Arant Haw in the Howgills this afternoon.

West Coast on Thursday beat East Coast on Friday for blue skies but the Moray Coast is always my first choice for a beach visit. The old wooden pier was still pretty much intact when I was a boy.
