Hey! I'm Andrew, and I quit my post-grad job to bet on myself. I graduated from Emory last year with a major in psychology and a minor in AI. I took a post-grad job at a seed-stage startup, then left a few months in to try building something of my own. Right now I split my time between working part-time as a barista at a local café, tutoring, and building on the side. This year will be my year.

THE APPLE APP STORE IS DROWNING IN AI SLOP people are treating the App Store like a Medium blog spitting out apps one after another. All with zero users and $0 revenue. Apple reviews that used to take hours are now stretching into WEEKS and even months > more than 550k apps were submitted just last year, highest in a decade.

I moved to SF a month ago. Something shifted immediately. These are sacred grounds. The energy of the people who built the internet, who built the infrastructure that lets one guy with no employees build a platform, a movement, you can feel it. I barely go out. Barely date. Don’t do conferences or investor dinners. I just sit in friends’ offices with engineers and build. It’s not networking. It’s something in the air. Thank you San Francisco. Thank you ancestors. “Getting VC money is easy, getting customers is the hard part.” Wrong. We made a 50% profit margin on launch day, went viral, and had 700 people on our waitlist in 3 days with ppl saying we were “doing god’s work.” Riling up the masses was easy, but no one wants to fund it.
