Hey Andrew, really appreciate you taking the time to share this 🤝 Just to clarify, the pixels aren’t going anywhere. They’re still part of the NFT and visible in the OpenSea carousel, so holders can choose how they want to represent their Chimp, whether that’s on X or in the upcoming collector hub. This isn’t a replacement, it’s an expansion! This also hasn’t been an overnight shift. The move toward kawaii and a broader brand direction started back in early 2023 when we realised we needed to scale beyond the Web3 bubble. Since then, everything from content to art and collaborations has been building in that direction. And while it can look like just views and followers from the outside, there’s real substance behind it, trade shows, licensing, partnerships like Molang and Fugglers, sold-out blind box drops all laying the foundations for a long term lifestyle character brand. This growth has only been possible because of the content strategy. Despite this there was a disconnect between the broader brand growth and the NFTs, and it became a priority for us to bring that together for the community. Kawaii has been in development for over a year, and was first introduced through Genesis and legendaries in 2024. 2026 has really been about alignment across the board, migrating to a royalty-enforcing contract, committing revenues to CHMPSTR buybacks, building out the NFT treasury, and bringing the art direction together so the whole community can move forward unified. So this isn’t about removing identity, it’s about adding layers and creating clearer entry points into the world. Someone might discover Chimpers through content, then go deeper into the collection and community. We’ve brought everything under one roof, and this is just the first step, the upcoming collector hub (Dojo Club) will build on this even further, and the world that we have been building in, and out of web3 will be unified!
