There's talk that @PenrithPanthers could be the first NRL team to go through undefeated.
But the @NRL disrespects it's comp every year. It diminishes it to a B grade comp for 3 of the 7 months (May-June-July) to play 3 seperate games. Hence can this record ever be achieved?

@nrlphysio I had grade 5 all you can do is wait for the excruciating pain to go away took a couple of months then rebuilt strength and tape it up to play. I just live with it as is

Good illustration of the Grade 5 AC joint injury that Kalyn Ponga played through to end the 2023 season. Effectively a more pronounced/separated Grade 3 (complete tear), leaves a significant “step” in shoulder. Ponga has avoided surgery & will play with shoulder as is in 2024.
