@fplbowen20@Spieth_Camp I mean he had 51 putts inside 5 feet and made them all.. if Spieth had done that.. I recon he’d have won the tournament at a canter 🤯
Now that it's all over can we ask what on earth Nick Faldo was talking about whenever Rory was in the trees up 18? I actually wasn't fully listening but it sounded absolutely bonkers and the reaction from Co commentators was one of disbelief...
@TrackSpieth Every part of his game is Top 10 in the world but is putting is really really worrying. Can’t see him contending anytime soon because of it but hope I’m wrong
@Spieth_Camp It’s mental.. if he’s working with Kenyon we should see massive improvements but he should move to a phantom 5 design like Thomas and Rose
The putting on the west coast was so good. It has just disappeared these last couple of weeks.
And I believe that’s the inconsistency that comes with a blade, especially if you have a shitty stroke.
@andy_fisher6@mary1408@DaveMar31903209@SpiethLegion I wanna pop in here to say that’s amazing if true. Scottie started working with him after Tour Championship in ‘23 and then still struggled a bit in 24. But now is a top 10/15 putter the last two years. It may just take a bit of time to get confident with new stuff in competition
@SpiethLegion He misses all the chances he should make to cover for his inevitable blow up which always leaves him getting the least from his round.. it’s sickening every time
"All the rage in the game of golf with teaching is to shallow ... Jack Nicklaus didn't have a huge shallowing move. Tiger Woods didn't have a huge shallowing move...
Scottie Scheffler does not have a huge shallowing move. He actually has a steepening move!"
Neat breakdown ⬇️
@TrackSpieth He’s close with scheffler who brought in Kenyon and moved to a mallet. Also Fowler went to butch .. and Rory used Rotella.. I think he’s just gotta bring in some fresh people and change it up.
