Natgas power plants rocked it last night in ERCOT, which was helpful as wind was at ~2 GW & solar at 0 GW. I wonder if any battery storage was deployed--prices might have been too low? I also wonder if gas from storage caverns was used or if real-time gas production kept up.

So #EnergyTwitter: it's widely understood that undergrounding electricity distribution lines is expensive. But how much of that is cost of digging trench? Say I was already digging up, tearing out an old gas distro line: how much cheaper would it be to lay cable at the same time?

Russia is selling more #LNG to Europe for the same reason as everyone: high TTF prices. The reasons why Russian LNG prices are lower in Asia is harder to discern: most is related to oil-indexed contracts, but some also seems sanctions-related, especially in India. #ONGT #natgas
