I had expected all the rare earth names - and especially the magnet makers $MP, $USAR, $MKA $MKA - to be surging right now, as it now looks increasingly likely that no improved REE deal has emerged from the US visit to China over the past two days. That said, the REE subsector is a high-beta group. This week's (and particularly this morning's) weakness in the leading names is providing an excellent buying opportunity for longs. Increased holding in Mkango this AM, and new longs just opened in $MP (60) and $UAMY (9.3).
