2030 will be Nashville’s first time hosting a Super Bowl, after their new domed stadium opens for 2027 season. Los Angeles, Atlanta, Las Vegas return in interim. Organizers are hoping events will be walkable and heavily organized around downtown.

The NFL Referees Association ratified a seven-year labor deal with the NFL through the 2032 season. The agreement includes increased access to officials in the offseason, development of a “bench” of officials and a new formal training program.

If a new CBA is formally approved, the league won’t have to lean on replacement refs during the 2026 season. And, in that case, it wouldn’t need to enforce the conditional replay-review rules it approved this spring, either. Replacement refs were most recently used in 2012.

@DustinCroft Lol yeah, it’s really a “down year,” emphasis on the quotes. He’s a double-team magnet, so his full impact doesn’t totally show up on the stat sheet. His run D metrics weren’t up to snuff last year, but he’s bounced back in that department before.
