@warrensbuffet2 Off grid friend had a flood (frozen pipe) recently and burned through 160 litres of diesel in 2 weeks because the solar couldn't keep up with the dehumidifiers - usual consumption is about 40L/year. She was so pleased it was only 99p/L rather than 149p/L it is now!

One of my old friends has 20 solar panels and a battery installed soon and my sister is picking my brains about panels and batteries FCK PTN

@KwikFitCS Surely your testers would never do something that could change the outcome of a test, such as tampering with a vehicle they weren't familiar with.

@KwikFitCS Hey, Callie - for other readers, could you quickly run through the rules on MoT observation, and what mechanical work a tester is legally allowed to do during a test? I thought it was clear observation is allowed and no repairs or alterations would be made during a test?

@Kwik_Fit I'd like to watch their reaction, but the viewing area camera is always broken.

@Kwik_Fit My car is boobytrapped. I'm so sick of Kwak Fit mot testers disconnecting heated seats, radio, music, fridge, anything else they can find, in an effort to turn cameras off, that one of those wires they love to pull now immobilises the car.
