I was delighted to open the Annual Beer Festival at Queen Elizabeth Hall. The festival is now in its 35th year, this fantastic event celebrates the best of our local breweries, along with a selection from microbreweries across North Wales. Well that was an interesting night. E's sister who is staying with us in the West Wing aka the spare room, woke us up to tell us water was coming through the ceiling. Tarpaulin had slipped due to torrential rain. Fun times? Not, but worse things happen at sea. Damage not too bad.
