Just wanted to say thank you to @Longmelfordfc @JBootsSupply_ for having me in the 5 a side tournament. Being out of shape, and not feeling too good was the reason why I defeated myself, where I wanted to be even better - nevertheless, it was an amazing opportunity to play! ⚫️⚪️

Max stepped up from the reserves to play a good number of first-team games this season and did himself proud, before finishing the season playing CAM... Who says goalkeepers can only play in goal!? 😂🧤⚽️

Our very own Media Intern, Will Phillips did a Melford Meets with goalkeeper (played outfield, good job he’s an all rounder! 🤣) Max Boulter before a 3-0 home defeat to Stowmarket Town Reserves. It was the last Melford Meets of the 2022/23 season, onto next season! 😍⚫️⚪️

To be fair everything pointed towards a relegation scrap. Second from bottom last season, several key players left and we lost nearly all the friendlies.
But then it all came together and apart from the odd blip it was a very good season 👏

@MOGoalkeeping I thought the same listening to the interview, not exactly magnanimous in victory! But on the whole Needham have been very respectful and shown a lot of class.

Not a massively respectful interview to be honest. Let's not ignore the fact we kept them at bay until a 45th minute penalty and within one goal until the 85th minute. Not bad for a side two divisions lower in the pyramid if you ask me 🥴🤷♂️

What a fantastic day for the club - both the Reserves, and First Team winning in their matches! Reserves hosted @WTFC_RESERVES, which ended in 2-1 with goals from Ricky Verdades and Kyran Quelch.
Then the First Team travelled to @WhittonUnitedFC, to win 2-1! #UTV #LMFC ⚫️⚪️

@andycussans1 Yeah, there are still loyal players, no question - we had more than 2000 appearances in the squad for the last game last season - but just doesn’t seem to be high up the agenda these days for many.

Enjoying watching the local transfers and moves this summer without having a horse in the race. Local non-league is great.
It’s clear loyalty isn’t really a thing these days, unfortunately. But that goes both ways, not pointing a finger at players or clubs, just an observation
