I have had the same morning for 7 years. 4:30am. No alarm. My eyes just open. 30 minutes of meditation. No guidance. Just the sound of birds, water and the wind. Then I read. Books that interest me. Dropping them, if they don't. Then I wake up my kids. Kiss them, hug them, ask them about their dreams. Get them ready for school. Then I play tennis. Move. Sweat. Curse myself when I play the shot I knew was wrong before I hit it. Then I hit the gym. Tear my muscles apart. Experience intense pain for 60 seconds, only to see it vanish in 10. By 9am I have done the 5 things that define who I am. Everything after 9am is the world asking things of me. Everything before 9am is me asking things of myself. 7 years. Same order. Every day.
