Massive win for @EnglandHockey indoor champions @OldGeorgiansHoc v Czechia champions Plzen in Spain - Eurohockey club champs this morning. Preserving their status in the top division. Quite a feat with other competing nations playing a full winter season v 3 week season in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

AGAIN! unacceptable delay to proceedings for an officer who has been exonerated in a criminal court, Didn’t @ShabanaMahmood and @metpoliceuk publicly state that the waiting time must be reduced. W80 - 10 years! Yet another kick in the teeth for all Firearms Officers.

Sadly - you appear to be making the same mistakes. Engage with & listen to serving operational police officers - not the college or police chiefs. Visit some front line teams - send the senior officers away & let the officers speak freely & honestly. They want policing to reform.

@grahamwettone @ShabanaMahmood Spot on as always Graham. 👍 The same message…….recycled every few years……🤷‍♂️ never any actual positive change. It is so sad that the days of public facing proactive policing are behind us and disappearing into the ether……

@ShabanaMahmood Great idea - how? Re-open closed police stations? Pay a starting wage to attract suitable recruits? Pls DONT do direct entry again - expertise & knowledge can always join in support roles with commensurate pay scales. Who is advising you on these reforms?

Everyday crime like shoplifting, phone theft and antisocial behaviour is rising across the country. Too often victims report offences and wait hours or days for a response—by then offenders and witnesses are gone. I will restore neighbourhood policing and expand police patrols to catch criminals and cut crime.
