⚽️ Back in late 1993 the world of football was a different place. The Premier League was entering its second season and I had just turned eight years old. Despite being a Wrexham fan, I decided to write to all 22 (yes 22) top flight clubs to ask them for some free stuff.

That 2003 promotion team is right up there with the very best football I've seen in my years watching the Town. Also, while so many others often got the headlines, this clip is yet another reminder of just how pivotal Jim Whitley was to that Wrexham side. Absolute class👌

It shows the farce that is the governance of football these days such that if Wrexham v Chelsea had taken place in the 4th round and not the 5th Wrexham would have 11 men on the pitch and the score would be 3-3. The FA are an embarrassing shambles of an organisation.
