@ttvPalmer For Earthbound, we started allowing turbo a few years back and I picked one of these up right after. Earthbound allows inputs from both controllers, so I would turbo with this and play with a SFC controller. But over time, it won me over and it's now my main. It's a great build.

@ehp22 2 pounds / week is intense. You've got to be running like a 1000 calorie per day deficit or something, right? You've got to be just non stop hungry.

Back in the spring, my church pants felt tight and I set a goal to lose 2 pounds/week for 10 weeks. I started strong, but lost the rhythm with the move. I undid a bunch of my progress, and I'm starting again today at 179! ☹️ Here we go.

@Enker_ @CrossRaven Registering for a particular party just lets you vote in the primaries for that party. That and it makes sure you get endless texts requesting your money.

@CrossRaven I'm pretty sure this is how I do it. I don't think I've ever registered myself in one party or the other, so I doubt I have this problem... don't know if there's any benefit to pre-registering your party. I'll just show up, vote for Kiryu and then leave

It's really baffling how hard America makes it to vote lol. I pretty much just tick a box on my tax form then walk down the street and cast my vote. Simplest process in the fucking world.

It has been over 10 years since I moved away from Utah. I'd like to make it back eventually. But our home in TX is in the path of totality for the April 2024 total solar eclipse, so maybe after that.

@andyperfect1 I haven't gotten carried up in all of the Dondoko Island(and probably won't), I don't think my playtime stacks up to others, but I have done several days in a row of not doing chapter stuff and focusing on side things. I'm definitely not ready for it to end either

The fight at the end of Chapter 12 of Infinite Wealth was really well done. I even thought I had overleveled but got humbled real quick. The storytelling in the fight was great too, and after.

@Enker_ I spent way too long in the haunt place. I’ve already nearly finished the first 30 floors. That grind (and all the money that comes along with it) sucks me in.

@ehp22 I’ve settled on getting into kayaking. Now my kayaking drive is like 2 blocks. Kind of makes up for it.

I'm browsing homes in Utah and sadly accepting that my ski commute will never be as good as what I grew up with.

I've been getting back into speedrunning again on a regular schedule and man it is good to be back. Good to see so many familiar names again in chat. My excitement for it is comparable to 2015-2016 levels.

My brother bought suite tickets for the Mavs/Jazz for a bunch of people in our family and apparently we'll be able to watch the teams during shoot around on the court. Never been on an NBA court before, and it'll be while my team is in town!

@Enker_ I feel similar regarding Arise. I stopped around what felt like the halfway point and the story got bizarre and uninteresting. Combat felt a bit repetitive.

@ehp22 I've never had precheck and I always feel lost up until the point that I board my flight. So I just assume everyone else feels lost and confused too.

Do you ever see people in the PreCheck line who look way too lost to have PreCheck, and then they get to the front and the agent tells them they don't have PreCheck and sends them to the other line?
