@Afolabikan @d_ocheido Prove it. Hail Zeus, Hail Odin, Hail Brahman, Inti and Hail Ra! Oh. And Yahweh... And on and on and on. Only a fool will say there's no God, but it takes delusion to convince yourself that from the millions upon millions you have a personal relationship with the one true God.

@12welvez @Sehinde_Mi He has said it himself. He has a job to do. He hasn't been shielded except for this narrative because he's broken a record. While helping the team back to the UCL and 3rd place. He is productive. That's just a fact. How can he be creating all these chances but still be a problem?

John McGinn captained Aston Villa to two UCL campaigns… a UCL quarter-final and now a Europa League trophy… Marc Guehi captained crystal palace to the double last season But Manchester United fans keep telling us Bruno finished 15th, 11th and 8th because the players around him are “terrible” .. Cooking up different excuses for Bruno... He is never to be blamed but the other players around him and the board but when the team is doing well he is the one receiving all the accolades... Let's keep deceiving ourselves sha At some point, excuses have to stop and standards have to return…
EliteFootyHub@12welvez

While I don’t agree with every tantrum our legends throw at our players, going through the timeline shows most football Twitter accounts only started watching football recently. Comparing Bruno’s influence to players who actually won major trophies for this club isn’t just crazy it proves you know nothing about football… With Bruno, Manchester United have won just one FA Cup and one Carabao Cup… while finishing in our worst positions in club history. And don’t say it’s because of bad players... Manchi played alongside Degea, Pogba, Mata, Cavani, Ronaldo, Martial,Greenwood, Rashford, Shaw, Varane, Maguire, McTominay and many more at the top level…. We called them the problem… Those same “problem” players left the club and went on to win major trophies elsewhere... Meanwhile, the one who “isn’t the problem” lost back-to-back Europa League finals with terrible performances in both finale. Stat-wise Bruno is Elite, but football is beyond numbers... So far he has done nothing special for Manchester United…. He deserves the criticism no one is beyond it…. Even Messi and Ronaldo still get it till date… If anyone says Bruno needs to win major trophies to be regarded as one of the best in Manchester United’s history, they are 100% right...

@12welvez No one ever said this nonsense about Totti, about RVP at Arsenal, about Batiatuta. Or about Harry Kane at Spurs. And plenty of stars in football and other sports. So, this is just flavour of week media sensationalism. It makes no sense.

@12welvez "Football is beyond numbers" while all you are doing is talking about numbers. If you really wanted to make this make any sense you'd have said, "Football is a team sport." Or some other trite nonsense. But football is beyond numbers? Numbers are used to determine everything.

KDB didn’t drop a documentary about breaking an assist record. KDB didn’t cry when his teammates bottled his chances. KDB didn’t pass when he was supposed to shoot. KDB didn’t force himself on every set piece. KDB won the league with his assists, so he celebrated as a champion not as a record breaker.

Roy Keane is absolutely spot on here, but of course Manchester United fans won’t like hearing it. This is a club that has been drowning in mediocrity for years, managers getting sacked, standards falling, players hiding, and the whole club moving like a mid-table project. Now the first time there’s a little bit of light, the main conversation is about assist records, documentaries, and interviews about personal numbers. That’s exactly the problem Roy Keane is talking about. The Manchester United team Keane played for didn’t celebrate assist records like trophies. They celebrated Premier League titles, Champions League nights, FA Cups, and dominance. That was the standard. Messi has broken records that some players can only dream of, but you’ll never see him crying because a teammate stopped him from adding one more stat. Greatness doesn’t beg for validation. Bruno’s record is impressive, no doubt, but he’s doing too much. You can’t be moving like you’ve completed football when Manchester United are still nowhere near where they’re supposed to be. At a club like United, assists should be part of the job not the headline of the season.

I am sorry but he’s saying gibberish. When a player assist, that means he’s helping his team mates score goals, Bruno created 133 goal scoring chances this season alone, if the forwards converted them, we would be better off. That act alone honestly makes him a selfless player who values the team.

@Ade_Dohyeen @MatchTalks_ How does one pad creativity and assists. It's also incredibly daft to talk about bashing productivity (volume) in professional sports where the entire premise is about keeping score and determining winners via points. It's daft.

@MatchTalks_ Neville's take is harsh but not hollow. Bruno thrives on volume, De Bruyne on vision. Stats without context can lie. One pads numbers, the other dictates games. Fair.

Gary Neville: ''Bruno’s assist record flatters to deceive. Too many of those passes are routine balls before a spectacular finish. If Kevin De Bruyne had played the full season, he would have been Best of the Season, this record wouldn’t even exist. Bruno is United’s stat-padding talisman, but De Bruyne is football’s true architect. The obsession with numbers is killing the art of midfield play — we’re rewarding quantity over quality. Bruno racks up figures because United funnel everything through him, not because he’s redefining creativity. He’s a volume player, not a visionary. De Bruyne, on the other hand, doesn’t just create chances — he dictates the rhythm of games, he sees passes nobody else even imagines, and he elevates the entire team’s level. That’s the difference: Bruno’s record looks great on paper, but football isn’t played on spreadsheets. If you want to talk about genuine artistry, intelligence, and influence, De Bruyne is miles ahead. Bruno’s achievement is impressive, but let’s not confuse efficiency with genius''.
