A wonderful leavers morning for my first ever Year 11 group as a Head. They are an inspiring group of young people who truly have been amazing role models for the rest of the school.

A work day I will never forget, listening to Barry and Margaret from @mizenfoundation talk about their son Jimmy. Humbling and powerful. Emotional and inspiring. Thank you so much for coming to talk to our Year 10/11 pupils at St Bernard’s today.

@MissMartinPE Handball and athletics for us. Lots of ours do throwing events. All pupils do netball at Key Stage 3 and this translates into better marks at gcse when they take the subject.

PE teachers: What do you do to increase students practical sport grades?? We are struggling to find ideas to help!!

One more get up before my first term as a Headteacher is done. It’s been an amazing term with lots of highs. The season of Advent has been particularly good. I hope everyone has a great Christmas break when it arrives!
