Remembering the passing of 2 friends one year ago: A year ago yesterday - Ramsey Doumani❤️‍🔥He was loved by our poker community and a selfless friend. He gave me moral support during some of my lowest points. I’ll always remember those long convos hanging at his house where we talked about everything. A year ago today - Stephen Boss❤️‍🔥Before he became known to the dance world as tWitch, I’ll always remember him as one of the most humble, genuine and uplifting guys I've known. He never let his celebrity status change him, and treated everyone with kindness. Both guys left such a positive mark on so many people, myself included. They are greatly missed. May their names live on.

Day 6 of the $10,000 @WSOP Main Event 🔥 18 GGPoker qualifiers started the day. Andy Stacks @andystackspoker, the last GGTeam pro standing, busted 108th for $65,000. Just 4 qualifiers remain, all still fighting in the $10K Last Longer challenge.

@gaucho2121 @WSOP A solution is definitely needed here. Calling the clock shouldn’t be it and does make it seem very personal.

I’ve played the @WSOP main event for over 20 years. I have multiple top 1-2% finishes. I finished 127th yesterday. The tanking this year was beyond anything I’ve ever seen. The main event absolutely needs a shot clock with time banks at some point maybe starting day4. Putting it on day 7 with no warning? Absurd. 20 seconds also too tough pre. Maybe 30 ish. And 1 min if action is reopened. The problem with calling the clock is that if you’re at all an introvert you’re unlikely to call clock. The one time I called clock this main the person I called it on was immediately like: who called clock on me? Who? Trusting the floors to monitor is a fine solution but it might end up being too subjective. The stalling is only getting worse though, and I hate to say it, there’s nothing that would magically reverse the trend. It will only get worse unpoliced.

@MariaHo Had fun playing with Hossein and Deeb for the first time @WSOP Europe. Rooting for both of them, but Brunson winning would make for an incredible story.

This #WSOP Main Event has already delivered its fair share of shenanigans and storylines, and we’re not done yet. Hossein Ensan is the lone former Main Event champ still standing. Todd Brunson is carrying on the Brunson legacy. Shaun Deeb is once again proving why he’s a perennial Player of the Year contender. Online crusher Pads is still in the hunt. And Congya Zhang is the last woman standing. What will Day 7 bring? I can’t wait to find out!

My deepest Main Event run before today was in 2019, when I busted out at the end of Day 5. Never imagined I’d still be in, especially after starting Day 3 below starting stack. Grateful for another shot @WSOP Main Event Day 6 🍀

Posted this on my ig, but likely one of the most crazy hands of day 2 so decided to post it here too. 175k effective bb 1k. Utg open 2.2 co call I call btn 86hh bb call. Flop T97hhd x to me I bet 3k sb call bb call co makes it 9.5k I make it 22k sb fold bb fold co makes it 65k I call. I'm shitting my pants but can't fold straight plus fd, praying he has set. Turn 3d he jams 108k I call he has AKcc. I woulda folded turn if board paired. Was vs unknown guy in his 50s, lol.

Imagine you could go back in time and visit a younger version of yourself at the exact moment when you fell in love with poker. You tell them “One day, we are going to play the @WSOP Main Event.” They’re speechless. It’s their dream. They imagine arriving early to feel the energy in the room, see the spectacle that is the Main Event, and to hear the words “shuffle up and deal.” “Actually,” you tell them. “We won’t be doing any of that. We skip Day 1 entirely and Max Late Reg into Day 2 because it’s a 0.43% more in EV.” Younger self would punch you right in the fucking face.
