A couple of months in and I never formally announced it on X, so here it is. I'm the new Discord Community Manager for @TheHashmasks. This isn’t a paid role. I’m doing it because I care. I didn't campaign for it. It was assigned to me, probably the natural outcome of being one of the loudest critics of how things were handled before. I'm not here to promise a comeback story or a return to the top of the charts. I'm here to fix what's been neglected. Hashmasks remain historically significant. 16,384 unique digital portraits launched in January 2021. Strong PFP identity. A built-in onchain naming system where holding earns you NCT daily and burning it lets you claim a unique name for your Mask. Since taking over, here's what got done: - Rebuilt the sales + name change tracking bot, auto-posting to Discord and X: @HashmasksB0T - Built a Discord query bot: token ID → traits, listing price, last sale, claimable NCT, double drop claim status - Cleaned up inactive treasury signers - Revamped Discord channel structure and organization - Increased communication with the community, keeping everyone informed and engaged - Been actively exploring ways to bring visibility back to Hashmasks Quiet work. Necessary work. I'm not doing this alone. I've handed larger roles to the community members who consistently show up. Shoutout to @BertiSt0_ and @bosenko_anton for stepping up. What's next: - Reactivate the network - Be more present on X - Connect with launching projects - Reconnect with OGs and make Hashmasks visible again, the right way I refuse to let this project fade into the abyss, waiting for some NFT archaeologist to rediscover it, sweep the floor, hype it for a week, then dump on the next wave. Agreed, I checked out a few and you typically sacrifice security for ease of setup - not good for something like this
Much better to do a manual setup (there’s plenty of guides, I’ve posted some) or work with someone who’s done it a bunch already

🚨🚨🚨 DO NOT use a service that sets up Openclaw for you. I tried 5 popular services and pretty much all of them exposed the gateway, didn’t have pairing mode, and allowed the root directory to be discovered by the internet. Not good :/
