Good morning all, Ryan uses bluetack daily he rolls it, he spins it, it helps his anxiety, and stops him from picking his nails and skin on his fingers, so way back I ask the social worker if the blu tack can be added as a DRE a disability related expense ( we use a lot) the lady laughed and send theres no way,I go away and do some research, following year I ask again and again they say no, this time I ask for the refusal in writing, lady says term ok fill out this form explaining why this is needed, and I do exactly that, letter comes through the door DRE refused, so I ring up and ask when it went to panel, it didn't, ok I say...you cannot refuse a DRE without it first going to panel, a day of phone calls later, finally they agreed for it to go to panel, and the blu tack was added as a expense, one social worker I spoke to didn't know what a DRE was, another didn't know about the panel, I always ask that a no or a refusal be given in writing, I always do my own research. Ryan's had a great day at his daycentre, had a temporary member of staff working with him as the regular member of staff is on holiday, not sure how it happened as Ryan's not saying but Ryan ended up with a jam doughnut and came home with his clothes covered in jam 🤷‍♂️

Good morning all, another beautiful day here in Gloucestershire, I'm starting to get Ryan's summer season clothes together, I have at least two identical items of everything, shorts tshirts hoodies etc ive brought only brands i know he'll wear, old clothes will be kept in a storage box for days out requiring a old set of clothes like going on bikes etc, I have spare clothes, ear defenders, radios, if Ryan has a problem with a radio I give him a new one and repair the old one if possible, and keep it as a spare for a day out that way if he loses it its not a problem, I buy multiples of items out of season on discount deal apps, if Ryan's going on a day trip I take a photo of everything hes taking and its all labelled, if it gets lost or misplaced, i send a photo of the missing item to the daycentre, I try to prepare for everything. One of the over 9,000 successful monthly ground robot operations now being performed by Ukraine's Armed Forces, a 77-year-old woman was rescued, walking alone along a road under shelling near Lyman. Remaining in her village were only craters and the bodies of neighbors. Pilots of the 60th Mechanized Brigade spotted her and refused to leave her there. Fighters from the “Cerberus” unmanned systems unit sent a ground robot toward her. To avoid scaring her, they covered it with a blanket and wrote a simple message: “Grandma, sit.” She climbed on. For four hours, under constant threat, the robot carried her out. The home and town in which she had lived for 53 years was destroyed by Russian.

Back from town where Ryan spent at least 5 minutes making sure he got the biggest pizza slice from the marks and Spencers bakery ,we also picked up some apple and mango juice too, ryan then ate a ice cream followed by a yawn and then said im tired now, and promptly went upstairs for a nap, a pretty good day.
