What was extremely interesting to me was 1) how she initially struggled with Touch ID touch va press 2) understand the swipe up gesture to get to Home Screen and close apps 3) mostly seeing icons on top corners of the screen 4) accepting UI constrains and enjoy them 4) type fast

Watching my 65yo mother using an iPad for the first time was transformative. Her UX was from a bunch of cheap Android phones and my old VAIO laptop. Ten minutes with the iPad and she installed an app on her own. App Store, Search, Authenticate, Download, Open.
