I want to advise everyone to stop before jumping the gun and calling Owen a bad person for this! People quickly react strongly negatively to AI which is not constructive at all. We should instead be using this to have conversations about in what way Ai should be utilized.

@Josh___Somethin i understand that (i write code occasionally for work), but based on his tweets he wrote a prompt for gen ai. it's in the folder. the prompt wasn't asking for a complete app but it did ask for some code. that is NOT the same as autocomplete/predictive text

@anglereactor The best way to explain it is auto-complete and AI generated text. He said he was against "Vibecoding" aka prompting LLMs like ChatGPT for complete apps. AI is just a diluted enough term that things ranging from Copilot to what is essentially robust coding predictive text.

@LillianaSamson i went back and re-read just to make sure i understood what he was saying correctly, and he def did prompt a gen AI model, prob whichever one is built into the ui he's using (could be gpt, claude, etc). he just believes it's okay because it's code and not art/creative writing
