Integrating experiential-based content within your delivery framework creates an opportunity for dynamic learning. This environment encourages curiosity, creativity, self-awareness and reflective practice. Though different, it’s a better approach for development. Pick better.

It’s simple to provide an activity for a group to accomplish. It’s harder to facilitate an activity that intentionally connects to their goals & encourages them to embrace the process rather than the result. One is easy, the other option is better - pick better.

One day you’re in high school and the next you’re crying bc your toddler’s best friend won the public school lottery and your toddler didn’t and now they won’t see each other every day 😭😭😭😭😭

Practice makes progress. Facilitation is a skill. In order to be better, you have to capitalize on the opportunities that will help you grow, even though it may be uncomfortable. Embrace the process.

Facilation is a skill that appears simple. Yet it takes time, effort and awareness to enhance it. Never underestimate the importance to: 👉 guide not give 👉 push not force 👉 build not break

There is nothing easy about helping teams develop a culture of trust, understand the value of feedback, invest in meaningful connections and keep their shared mission at the forefront. It takes time. Embrace the process.

Grateful for the opportunity to work with @SCWVball. I’m not sure who is making who better. Looking forward to watching them trust the process and fight with purpose.

Encouraging vulnerability while building connections has the potential to greatly increase trust within a group. Investing the time and space cultivating relationships could be the difference maker.

Something to always keep in the forefront when working with groups is to lead with curiosity, pivot with intention and encourage self-reflection.
