De momento, sin importar el tamaño de la ventana de contexto, la heurística sigue siendo:
"Agrega el contexto indispensable en el momento adecuado para maximizar la posibilidad de que el modelo produzca el resultado deseado."
Custom commands, sub-agents, SKILLS, etc son todos mecanismos que nos proveen a nosotros, los humanos, diferentes categorías de mecanismos para poder organizar la información y cumplir con esta heurística.

Doing some experiments today with Opus 4.6's 1M context window. Trying to push coding sessions deep into what I would consider the 'dumb zone' of SOTA models: >100K tokens. The drop-off in quality is really noticeable. Dumber decisions, worse code, worse instruction-following. Don't treat 1M context window any differently. It's still 100K of smart, and 900K of dumb.

Wow, I totally disagree with this statement. At the current state, AI actually amplifies the developer to developer difference. If you were a 10x developer, you had good ideas + architectural clarity, this is a brutal advantage when using AI. Steering is a fundamental part of today's AI development.

v2.4.0 of my Elixir/Phoenix Claude Code plugin — token efficiency overhaul.
Validated across 75 real sessions:
/phx:review: 340K → 120K tokens (-65%)
/phx:full: 450K → 200K tokens (-55%)
/phx:plan from review: 150K → 50K tokens (-67%)
Main changes: skip agents when hooks already verified the code, focus review on new code only, remove output sections that had zero actionable value ("Clean Checks" was 62% of one agent's output, "What's Good" sections were 16-56%).
Lightweight path for small changes — 2 agents instead of 4-5 when diff is under 200 lines.
16 files changed across 5 agents and 8 skills.

opencode 1.3.0 will no longer autoload the claude max plugin
we did our best to convince anthropic to support developer choice but they sent lawyers
it's your right to access services however you wish but it is also their right to block whoever they want
we can't maintain an official plugin so it's been removed from github and marked deprecated on npm
appreciate our partners at openai, github and gitlab who are going the other direction and supporting developer freedom

I use Claude Code daily on a ~280K line Phoenix app (81 contexts, 80 LiveViews, 106 Surface components, 824 migrations).
Claude can write Elixir, but it's not an Elixir developer — it doesn't know which function fits better for a specific case, how to name things idiomatically, when to use `with` vs `case`, when a process is overkill, or that `:float` will corrupt your money fields. I kept correcting the same things manually.

I have been working on Obsidian Reader for a over a year. I didn't want to share it until I felt it was good enough. It's finally there. Consistent formatting for any article. Outline, syntax highlighting, nice footnotes, adjustable typography. Runs locally. Just rules, no AI.

#ATENCIÓN Denunciamos la detención de María de los Ángeles Castillo en un punto de control del estado Táchira, mientras se dirigía a Perú para la reunirse con sus hijas. Castillo, detenida por razones políticas en julio de 2025, fue excarcelada el pasado 24 de febrero. A pesar de que compareció voluntariamente en tres ocasiones ante el Tribunal donde cursó su causa y ante el Ministerio Público en Caracas —donde se le ratificó la inexistencia de causas pendientes—, funcionarios de seguridad ejecutaron hoy su aprehensión alegando una solicitud activa en el sistema SIPOL. Este hecho evidencia una grave falta de coordinación institucional y una omisión por parte del Tribunal al no tramitar el levantamiento de las alertas policiales tras haber decretado su libertad plena. Lo ocurrido constituye un grave precedente que deriva en la revictimización de quienes han sido perseguidos. Exhortamos a la liberación inmediata de María de los Ángeles y al trámite que ponga fin al asedio. La libertad personal no puede estar sujeta a la ineficiencia administrativa del Estado. #JusticiaYLibertad

Hoy MacOS me dijo que si quería actualizar el SO necesitaba más espacio libre en disco... Y pues si, el disco estaba quedándose corto 🫠 Terminé instalando Mole, Open Source, con `brew install mole` le di un `mo clean` (antes un --dry-run) y al rato tenía 3x libre en disco 👍
