99.9% of the college and pro athletes that come to me use their athleticism at 70-90% and their technique at 10-30%. Their althletic gifts definitely give them an advantage. And they use those gifts to get to high levels. But then, they reach a level where everyone at their new level is just as athletic if not more athletic, including the pitchers. To play at high levels they must develop a swing technique based on suddenness of launch. Their fast twitch is not enough quickness. They must also have mechanical quickness.
HLP is that mechanical quickness that they need. A fast twitch muscle is good. But a fast twitch muscle pulling against an equal and opposite fast twitch muscle results in a sudden burst. That sudden burst allows the hitter more time to make better swing decisions.
This became so obvious when my son of very average athleticism, was out hitting the better athletes because of his new found launch quickness.
Shortly thereafter, when speaking with David Matranga, Aaron Judge’s agent, I said “when a superior athlete gets hold of HLP, he will have unbelievable results”.
Aaron is doing quite well. 🙂🙂

In the simplest of terms. The public hasn’t cared about the WNBA or women’s basketball as a whole for decades. Historically, Attendance numbers, TV ratings for both NCAA and WNBA show that. For the first time, women’s basketball has a player in Caitlin Clark that is must see TV. More people watched the Woman’s final 4 than the men’s final four. It’s the NBA Finals and there’s more buzz around Clark than Luka, Kyrie or anyone on the Celtics. WNBA attendance numbers are up across the board but Fever games at home and on the road are 2x any other team. Leaving her off the US Olympic is either pettiness, stupidity, or both. She’s the tide that raises all boats when it comes to women’s basketball.

@JWonCATCHING Looks like he is set up in front of home plate initially but then shuffles to where the throw takes him and then dives back to the front. I could be wrong but if you pay attention to the beginning of the clip, looks like he’s preset in front. Should probably keep mask on too!!!

A perfect example of why setting up in foul territory on throws to HP from RF are advantageous. If you set up in front of HP to receive this throw on the 1B foul side of HP, your momentum will take you away from HP & you will lose the play. #catchers day
