I remember when cash scarcity nearly turned me into a Nollywood crying champion at the bank 😂😂 That period was mad. My mum runs a POS shop but no cash anywhere, yet customers were breathing down her neck. So I told her, “Relax, I’ll go to the bank.” Omo… when I got there and saw the queue, my spirit left my body. Long doesn’t even describe it. And the worst part? No guarantee of cash at the end 😭 After standing for like one hour, something just came over me… I started crying 😭😂 Full-blown tears. Next thing, people gathered around me like I was in a movie scene. “Sorry ma… take it easy…” “Madam please help her na…” Meanwhile my pregnant belly was doing full sympathy marketing 😂😂 There was NO way you would see me and not pity me. I said, “I need this money badly… I’m tired already…” 😭 My people, instantly they cleared road for me like Red Sea. Some men even held my hand like I was VIP 😭😂 “Security! Open gate! Let her enter!” As I entered, they gave me chair first 😭😂 Because I was sweating like Christmas goat, no exaggeration. Then the teller asked: “Sorry ma, how much do you want?” I said with full confidence… “500k” 😂😂😂 That woman laughed from her soul😂😂. She said, “Madam, the highest we can give is 50k. You can see the queue outside na, we want it to go round.” My people… I started crying AGAIN 😂😂 Even the women inside started begging on my behalf: “Ahh she’s pregnant na… it’s hormones…” 😭😂 They called the manager. He came and said, “Madam, I can give you 200k, but come back tomorrow for the rest.” I said, “No wahala sir” immediately 😭😂 They even offered me food. I said no… because at that point even me I didn’t understand my emotions again 😂😂 Collected the money, thanked everybody like I just won an award and went home. As I reached house and started explaining to my mum… I started crying AGAIN 😭😂 My mum just looked at me and said: “Go and sleep abeg.
