As I've been playing around with ChatGPT Atlas, I am finding myself putting more weight on queries I run there than in Google Google searches feel ephemeral - many times I'm just throwing a single keywrod into the void (weather, delta, etc.) ChatGPT prompts feel logged, lasting, and in some ways part of a bigger record of thought... sorta makes me hesitate before typing even simple things

learned a ton about fresnel shading with this and dusted off some of my old trigonometry knowledge with the ripples/expanding/camera sway!

it's been fun working in threejs, sort of feels like filming but entirely in OpenGL. lots of practical considerations like geometry, camera positioning, and lighting made a little sphere inspired by a 4s inhale - 7s hold - 8s exhale breathing technique anilc.com/breathwork

just saw an ad for adobe and they were promoting one click object selection the youth will never know the pain of spending forever cropping an object with the pen tool in Photoshop and then accidentally clicking and losing all of your progress

In the near future, I will miss using my little o3 and 2.5-pro thinking breaks to doomscroll for a few seconds

Cool learning from long-term memory: if I make further edits to a response ChatGPT creates (i.e. tweaks to language, adding/removing context), I reply to bookend the conversation and ask it to remember how I changed its response to suit my needs. It's been helpful to give it that feedback and I'm already starting to see better and more personalized responses from future prompts
