@nvpkp Throw a bunch of rice, store bought bone broth, some chopped frozen vegetables and some chicken in a rice cooker. Literally takes 2 minutes to throw together and 20ish minutes later you have a freshly cooked meal.

i'd like to crowd source some ideas what's a meal that you cook on autopilot just to get some food in? i'm not looking for your most desperate of meals, but something you can feel good about having eaten and that doesn't take much effort

@nvpkp Hot Rice, kimchi, fried Sunnyside egg drizzle of sesame oil. Or sub drained ramen noodles. Omelette, pasta with frozen peas, butter and parm. Soft cooked egg, arugula lemon, olive oil toast

What is the one thing you wish you could hire an assistant to do to just take off your hands so that you never had to deal with it anymore? This one goes out especially to all my #ADHD pals (who am I kidding everyone who follows me on twitter has ADHD ahahahaha)

@dieworkwear Yeah, I got tips for that. Tell someone kind you are doing, it get on zoom or a phone call with them on mute. Go to a different room. Have something delicious with you. Or smells delicious. Still too scary? Then do 5 minutes

they should invent a pill you can take to help you finish tasks that realistically will only take 20 mins but since you've been putting it off for months it's now a huge deal and affecting your sleep

@ADHDdesigner Oh my god yes. My Spotify history is insane. People ask me what kind of music I like and I literally freeze. Apparently “most of it is” is not an acceptable answer.

They say things are always “all or nothing” for people with ADHD. Sooo… anyone else’s Spotify just a mix of pump up songs you can blast really loud and the most calming atmospheric classical pieces ever?

I really need to take action on this email, so it’s important I keep it unread and sitting in my inbox for the next 3, 6, or 12 months so I feel guilt and shame every time I see it which is 20 times a day.

@ElenaBjxrn Generally if the same scenario happens between friends you would split the cost of the one ticket. That’s what makes this such a weird choice for someone who ostensibly wants to connect to another person.

I just remembered the time I went on a first date to London Zoo and at the gate he asked if I would mind paying for my own ticket, which I said I would, at which point he pulled out a 2-for-1 voucher, so I paid for my ticket and he went in for free.

feeling pretty depressed lately tbh, over some personal stuff since life kicks me when i’m down anyways it should just end my life already

@jamiattenberg I think it’s a slow process of things I realize I don’t care about anymore. Overall though it’s an acceptance that youth culture is just that and my time in it has passed. I can now focus on other cultures. That came at 38 or so
