Ending Development on Animix Snap
After reflection and careful thought, the Animix team has made the extremely difficult decision to end active development on Animix and begin the process of sunsetting the game.
We poured our hearts into creating a world where your creatures could mix, evolve, and battle in ways no one had seen before. Thank you to every player who joined us on this journey — your passion, creativity, and feedback meant everything to us.
At @animix_tech, we believe our players deserve games that can be played and enjoyed for years, and that are remembered forever. Despite our best efforts and all the love we received, Animix did not reach the level of long-term experience we set as our goal for ourselves and for you.
We learned a tremendous amount from building and running the game — lessons we’ll carry forward into whatever comes next.
Timeline & what to expect:
- Season 8 will be the final season
- After season 8 ends, the game will be shut down (inaccessible) on January 13, 2026.
- Unclaimed tokens in the treasury will be burnt on February 12, 2026.
- The bridge between Sophon and Soneium will be live till February 27, 2026.
- The remaining Galaxy will be scanned and refunded to users in MUP.
This chapter may be closing, but the energy and creativity live on.
The core team at @THREES_HQ remains fully committed and excited to keep building new apps and experiences. We'll carry the innovation, lessons, and playful spirit of Animix Snap into everything we create moving forward — and we hope to see many of you there with us.
