Okay I agree that democracy requires high trust to function, but you miss the point: when your country elects a leader with 34 felony counts of business fraud on the public record, it is a sign that institutional trust has already collapsed. If you couldn’t understand I wasn’t defending the guy; I am exposing the blatant hypocrisy. You don't know me well enough to accuse me of 'lying' or 'scamming'—those are the desperate insults of someone who has lost the argument. India’s democracy may grapple with populism and different national priorities, but it requires a level of nuance and patience to understand that clearly escapes you. Labeling a nation with such reductive slurs doesn't make you right; it just makes you uninformed. I don’t live in a democratic country, but it functions well and the governance is much better than the US or India. There is no need for a leader to use "gimmicks" to stay ahead of a court case or a poll. Thank you for the attention to this matter!

@anjspace @SaraGonzalesTX Democracy benefits people in a high trust society. Democracy stops benefiting people and fails in a low trust society where people lie and scam without feeling shameful at all, like what you’re doing. That’s why India is a shit hole and the most populated democracy that fails.

Let’s be clear: I am not defending a criminal. I am calling out the blatant hypocrisy of Americans. It is staggering that as you claim to ‘understand the law’ but had no issue electing a President with 34 proven felony counts of business fraud on the public record. If you can’t see the contradiction there, you’ve missed the point entirely. By the way, I appreciate the ‘help’, but we can probably do without the name-calling.

@anjspace @SaraGonzalesTX The word you are looking for is FRAUD. You wrote that long winded bullshit without understanding the immigration laws. That would have saved you from looking like a dumbass.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not defending the guy or justifying one crime by citing another. As an outsider I am calling out the blatant hypocrisy of Americans who are blind to the irony here. The American President—the man currently destroying the world engaging in an ‘illegal war’—is a convicted felon. It’s a matter of public record: he is guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree in your country. I rest my case 🙈

@anjspace @SaraGonzalesTX He likely got a fraudulent SBA loan under his wife's name to start it while hiding other income, probably with a different family member. You don't understand the level of coordination in their fraud because they know if they do get caught, they will hop on a plane back to India

Do Americans even know how to read and write English? I am clearly not defending the guy. I am calling out the blatant hypocrisy of Americans who are blind to the irony here. Your own President—the man currently destroying the world—is a convicted felon. It’s a matter of public record: he is guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree in your country. If you can swallow that swallow this one too. Clearly you lack a valid argument. The least you can do is learn to respect and be humble😈😸

My FAN moment: 67 year old Elizabeth Joseph who works as a flower seller outside the St Antony’s Church in Kochi. One of her children is now an IT engineer, the daughter a teacher. Comes to work at 5 am and stays till midnight, makes Rs 2000 on a good day. Celebrates all festivals: Xmas, Diwali, Eid and of course Onam. Maybe this is the Keralam/India story that should be told and inspire, no? ⭐️👍 #ElectionsOnMyPlate

The double standard is as transparent as it is egregious. I hope you realise that the EU and UK freeze over $330 billion in Russian assets, and over $150 billions Iranian assets in accordance with the September 2025 UN sanctions. These are recognized as legitimate regulatory actions. However, the moment the UAE exercises its own CFT obligations, the vocabulary changes to 'seizing.' Whatever narrative suits is coming out to save their political narrative.

#BREAKING The UAE swallowed up about $530 billion of Iranian assets with the false promise of "99-year residency," and now, without the slightest explanation, is unilaterally canceling their residency.

@Eternaldharma_ @lolflix_ Ask Madhavan to request UAE to release it. He very well know the reason why UAE has banned it. Yet he is asking people to fly down to India to watch it only to relive or see the gravity of pain and sorrow to inject more hatred?

Mothers are the first school for their children, the place where children learn belonging, responsibility and the values that shape strong nations. Today, to mark Mother’s Day, we have directed the Community Development Authority to adopt the title “Generation Shaper” instead of “housewife”, in recognition of a role that no words or titles can truly capture. To all our mothers… Thank you. You are the foundation of everything good. Happy Mother’s Day.
