🚀 TypeScript interfaces are my secret weapon for clean code! ✨ Example: interface User { id: string; name: string; email: string; } Benefits: ✅ Auto-complete magic ✅ Catch errors early ✅ Self-documenting code Who else relies on interfaces for safer refactors? 🛡️ #typescript

@akshaymarch7 Once we learn JavaScript from a teacher like you, every other language feels less appealing.

Most students hate JavaScript just because it was not the first language they studied. The first language for them is mostly some strict procedural/object oriented language C, C++ or Java. They carry that heavy knowledge of some other programming language and expect JS to behave the same way. JS is very very very different than other programming languages. Comparing JS with any other language is just foolish. 🤷‍♂️ So if you're someone who hates JavaScript, then I have a request for you. 🙏 Just once, please leave the baggage of other languages aside, and just once, for once, try to study JS from scratch again. This time start from 0 and don't compare it with other languages. 😌 and I bet, if you do it properly, you'll love how beautiful JavaScript is. ❤️ If you really want to try, you can follow my web series on Youtube, "Namaste JavaScript" - youtube.com/watch?v=pN6jk0… Everything is covered from scratch, and everything is 100% free. for friends who agree with my thoughts and who love JavaScript, Please share this post with your network and help me reach more developers. 🙏 Once a JavaScript Hater, Akshay Saini PS. sharing a meme that one of my students sent me on instagram #javascript #softwareengineer #programming

This is strange! I also ran the code now, getting the same result (1 & 2). Technically the output should be 1 and 3. We have to crack this one for sure!

The output will be 1 followed by 3. Explination: The test function is an asynchronous function. Inside it, x += await 2; will pause the execution of test until the await is resolved Meanwhile, the execution outside of the test function continues, so x += 1; is executed next, making equal to 1. Then, the console.log(x); outside of the function logs 1. After the await in test() resolves, x (which is now 1) is incremented by 2, making it 3, and then logged inside the test function.

JavaScript Challenge! Guess the outcome of the below code snippet! let x = 0; async function test() { x += await 2; console.log(x); } test(); x += 1; console.log(x);

@SumitM14455640 Output will be 20 As + operator will convert non-string to string so '2' + '2' will be "22" But - operator will convert the string value to the number , so 22 - 2 will be 20.

I will get a lot of hate after this, but let me post it. Before joining Uber, I had 17 offers. Including Microsoft, Amazon, Ola, Swiggy, Atlassian, Grab, MedLife and a many more well known startups and MNCs!! And let me tell you, it was not at all easy! For these offers, I gave interviews in 67 companies (at least 1 round) The first 13 interviews I gave, I got rejected in all of them I felt very sad and low, I felt like giving up! But deep down in my heart I knew that I have skills. I can code, I can build products, I can work hard. The problem was with interviews, & the interview process(especially frontend), It is very vague, I was being asked random irrelevant questions, Interviewers used so many jargons which I never understood. But I did not give up! The 14th interview I gave, I got an offer, it was from a startup! And after that I did not look back and even rejections were not affecting me now. Let me also tell you, For getting to interview in 67 companies. I would have definitely applied in 1000+ companies (I don't have a count) Each Sat-Sunday, I used to apply in at least 100 companies. (via LinkedIn Jobs, reaching out to recruiters, referrals, career sites, recruiting agencies, naukri, angel and everywhere) What I learnt is that, if you don't have a brand name college, the chances of getting to interview is low, it is less than 1% Every time I failed an interview, I came back and found answer to all questions which I failed before my next interview. (I learnt a lot in this process) I kept giving interviews, and in the process I kept improving my style of approaching people for referrals, talking to HRs and communicating with the interviewers I reached a point, 0. where I was asked repeated questions in interviews 1. I got better at my communication skills 2. I got better at explaining myself in front of interviewer 3. I did not care if I was rejected 4. I got better at negotiating offer letters 5. I even got better at noticing that how screwed our interview process is 6. Trust me, I have faced very very very bad interviewers (even in really good companies) So if you're giving interviews, the only advice is to just give as many interviews as you can. It took me several months, I know it's frustrating and consuming, but trust me, all of it is worth it. I wanted Good Work & Good Salary, I was ready for the grind. What I learnt is, you can achieve anything in life, all you need is that `Burning Desire` 🔥 Cheers, Akshay Saini .. Akshay, you wasted so much time of random companies and did not join them, don't you have ethics? TBH, `I don't care` I feel my career is limited, I can only work for a few companies, I want to make the `best career jump` possible. It's not unethical from my POV Akshay, with all this, how were you even working in your current company? I was grinding day and night. I even got 120% bonus with `exceeds expectations` rating that quarter. `I don't have time`, for me this phrase is bullshit.
