@NeuroYogacara Not sure it’s exactly what you’re after, but there’s a nice paper in archaeology talking about how the material world is always a kind of palimpsest (temporal or otherwise) & what challenges this introduces for interpreting archaeological material, esp. on longer timescales!

An interesting read and one that makes a lot of sense from a 4E cognitive perspective. Lockdown brain fog is a good example of the extended mind and the agency of the environment in shaping how we think, remember, and feel.
