@MrBoothY6 I can’t even think of shakshuka without the Tarik Menguc song coming into my mind. It’s really popular in Turkey and when I heard it I couldn’t understand why someone would write a whole dance song about it. But apparently the guy *loves* the stuff 🍳😆youtu.be/laF_VdHN8G8

@PaulGarvey4 @cyclingkev Great answer. I’m also worried about the mental health impact on YR/Y1 when they are constantly told to stay apart and not touch things. I actually think this could be damaging for them because it goes against everything they *naturally* are inclined to do.
English

@cyclingkev Social distancing Kevin.
Say how shocked all are.
How out of step with the rest of the UK we are, who are being sensible and delaying.
Whether the government have applied their five principles to schools.
How on earth social distancing will work with Y1/YR.
Good luck!

Schools will remain closed until further notice to all except the children of critical workers and vulnerable children.
Schools will only be re-opened when the scientific advice says it would be safe to do so.

@JennyHolderLiv 🍿 Popcorn eating going well in our house today. Top tip Jenny 👍🏻 Sending lots of love and positive vibes your way xxx

@JennyHolderLiv I’ve had loads but the best by far is a Bodum one I got in TK Maxx. Bought one for a colleague’s birthday and she was impressed at how her coffee was warm at break time having made it at 7:30am and I have to agree - they’re amazing! Plus you can get a range of colours too xx

@JenniferKillick Don’t get much for free these days and when glue sticks are like gold because there’s no money in the budget, a free author visit is like seeing a unicorn 🦄

Looks like #BrewEdLiverpool sold out in 25 seconds. Sorry about that!

@Karin_Krause1 @MaryAliceEvans 2/2 There are always two sides to every coin & while authors need to sell books to earn a living, after a visit children usually want to buy their books because they’ve been engaged & hooked. Isn’t that a magical thing? Children WANTING a book? That’s why I love author visits📚
English

@Karin_Krause1 @MaryAliceEvans 1/2 I don’t think many authors would a) get much work in schools if they ‘just talked about their books’ & b) then sold them. Every author visit we’ve had has included an energetic, interactive & inspiring school assembly/presentation & writing workshops for group of children...
