Spoke about it with an ED reg mate of mine, at one point we had an >14 hour wait to be seen: “They’re all someone’s person that they really care about and love. Doesn’t that make you sad?” Unbearably so. The moral injury is hurting.

Absolute worst night of my career. I’ve kept an hour by hour log of numbers in dept and decision making it was that awful… When do you declare a major incident when every day is a major incident? So utterly utterly broken (both the system, the staff, and me).
