Getting the disposable cameras back from my trip to #SouthAfrica makes me miss going out on safari drives each day and not knowing what you'll find 🦏🦁🦒

I took a last minute trip out to volunteer in South Africa before starting my new canine scientist job today! Missing sights like this daily but very excited for the new 12 months of research 🐶

Devastating 😞

Sad days in Northern Israel. In the past weeks Avian Flu (H5N1) has been spreading among the Common Cranes wintering in the Hula Valley. Over 5000(!) Cranes have been found dead or dying. The Hula Park and reserve have been closed and actions are being taken at a national level.

Many farmers in Cornwall would like to know more about the birds on their farm, to help make decisions around how to support them. Please contact Lawrence.sampson@fwagsw.org.uk for more information if interested in conducting surveys and/or attending an event.

@EmilyTheobald5 100%! The fact it took me 4 months before I had my first viewing and then at 5 months we finally found an over priced, small flat we had to take else we would have no where is crazy!!! Let's hope it improves 🤞🏡

@EmilyTheobald5 @VisitScotland @ScotWildlife About time!!! There were 60+ dolphins too so a brilliant show, need to see them all on home waters now 😁

17M UK households spend £250M on 150K tonnes of bird food annually. Great if you are a dominant species like a Blue Tit but what about if you are subordinate species like a Willow Tit?

Highlight of my bird ringing with this absolutely beautiful bird, the Manx Shearwater. A surprise catch last night while catching Storm Petrols in Cornwall!
