Today (3-21) is World Down Syndrome Day! I’m wearing my silly socks given to me by the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma. The Down Syndrome community wears silly socks on 3-21 because socks resemble chromosomes, and Down Syndrome occurs due to a third copy of the 21st chromosome. “One OKC” means that all residents are included in our city’s story. I’m proud that in OKC, so many work to ensure that all residents have equal opportunity. And today is a day to celebrate the work of our Down Syndrome community! #SOCKS4DSACO

My wife Amy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and starts chemo therapy tomorrow afternoon. We have felt really encouraged by our community and feel God’s presence through it all. Pray for strength for her and she starts this journey. We believe she will have complete healing, but it will be a long road. I’m thankful for all that have reached out in support of her. Please pray for her + my boys and I through this process

Key to Home has housed over 500 people experiencing homelessness and has helped reduce unsheltered homelessness four years in a row.
