@annaonthemoon Thanks for your comments Rebecca. This is part of a government‑funded fare cap and it only applies to single tickets. Unfortunately, it doesn’t apply to returns or any other ticket types, including DayRiders, which are priced separately and will remain the normal price. -Ivy

@StagecoachEMid something is broken on your app. Tried to buy a return between Dunholme and Waitrose and it quoted over £9. It should be £3 each way!

@StagecoachEMid Why though? Surely returns ought to be "discounted" or charged the same as 2 singles. I usually get a dayrider but those went up by 60p so it's no longer a good value if I just need a short hop. £9.40 is absolutely excessive for a round trip that is less than 10 miles.

@annaonthemoon Hi Rebecca, The £3 fare cap only applies to single tickets. It works out better value to purchase 2x single tickets as opposed to the return ticket for this journey due to the fare cap, but these would need to be purchased separately. -Eve

@StagecoachEMid Do you know where the bus stops will be? Last time there was a flood, busses diverted along Honeyholes Lane and we were told to flag it down wherever we wanted.

#Grimsby #Lincoln due to flooding in Dunholme Village. We are unable to operate in the village. Service 53, 53A will be diverting along the A46 and Lincoln Road to serve Dunholme. Service 12 will be diverting along Lincoln Road and using Rivehall Lane as per normal.
