He ended up moving on to someone new from the retreat and that hurt even worse than the breakup did. Being alone in a foreign country going through this was so hard but I did it and I’m finally choosing me for the first time in my life.

Ethan and I had a month long trip to India for a retreat planned together and I broke up with him the day before our trip. Of course we continued to have sex and be physically affectionate on the trip but eventually about half way through I had to put a stop to that.

My petty pet peeve is when people say “whenever” when they just mean to say “when”
