@BoycottKey I don't know what triggers them, but summer and heat are harder for me to tolerate. I get brain fog too...it's frustrating for sure. Be sure to tell your doctor all you are experiencing. I write stuff down because I will forget.

@anneev22 I’m losing my sense of time. All this month, I kept saying Feb. over the summer, I found myself asking my cousin about grades cuz I thought it was a different season. And right now, my lymph nodes are swollen. Do you know what triggers your flare ups?

@BoycottKey Of course! I'm pretty new at this too! I experience joint pain, more intense fatigue than normal, skin issues/rashes, bloating/tummy issues.

December 25, 2023. My second consecutive sober Christmas. 🎄 December 25: A day celebrated in my family with alcohol. But more than any typical day. “The Bar” as we call it, typically opens as the sun rises on December 25. December 25 is one of those days we are “allowed” to mask joy, health and happiness to the extreme. At least in my family. It’s how we survive. I’ve lived my entire life on “survival.” Christmas looks differently to me today. I’m the happiest I have ever been and I haven’t touched alcohol since December 1, 2022. And that’s the greatest gift of all. Merry Happy Holidays to you.
